What ProScope is
ProScope is an online marketplace for South Africa. Customers describe a job once, receive quotes from approved local businesses, compare them side by side and book through ProScope. We add new services over time, and every service works the same way: approved businesses, private contact details and payments through ProScope. See the services available now.
ProScope is operated by PROSCOPE BUSINESS SOLUTIONS (PTY) LTD, a company registered in South Africa (registration number 2026/871710/07), at 3 Rooikrans Street, Oudtshoorn, Western Cape, 6620, South Africa.
Who does the work
The service is delivered by the independent business the customer chooses, not by ProScope. Each business is responsible for the work it quotes for and for the laws, licences and insurance that apply to its trade.
What ProScope does
- Approves businesses. Businesses apply with their company details and registration documents, and our team reviews each application before the business can quote.
- Keeps contact details private. Businesses see the job, not who the customer is. Contact details are shared only with the booked business, after the deposit is confirmed.
- Runs the booking and payments. Customers pay the deposit and the balance through ProScope, using Payfast. Before paying, they see the total price, the deposit, the balance, when it is due and the cancellation cutoff.
- Handles cancellations, refunds and disputes under published policies: our Deposits, Cancellations and Refunds Policy and our Complaints and Disputes process.
